Anonymous Troll: I came across your site by chance; I guessed your URL. It just makes sense.
I have just about been unemployed by AI. I’m a writer.
Five years ago, work in my field was abundant; there was as much to go around as you wanted.
Today, everything has changed.
As we speak, I'm close to being evicted because my writing agency doesn’t have enough work. I’ve gone on platforms like Freelancer and Upwork, but it seems like even the most successful people on these platforms are just barely scraping by. There are more and more people joining these platforms every day, without the corresponding work for them. Competition is incredibly brutal, and prices are rock-bottom.
The future looks bleak.Because it’s not just my industry that’s going to be decimated; it’s going to be MANY industries. Something like 80% of all white-collar workers could be unemployed in the next 10-15 years.
Very, very few people are going to get rich off this; most are going to be quite poor. The trend seems set to only continue.
But —
It doesn’t have to be like this!
I don’t know if many people have realized this, but there is a quick, easy and relatively painless way out of all this.
It’s called the law.We live (for now) in a democratic society. If government were simply to outlaw — and even roll back in many cases — AI (or most AI), we could save people’s livelihoods — and with them, practically our whole economy.
Yes, laws could save us!!! It could happen overnight!!! We just need enough people to realize what’s going on and to get behind the right politicians.
But we need this to happen yesterday!!!! We can’t wait!!!!!
The political corruption in Washington is a byproduct of a relatively few individuals making a vast fortune off what’s going on right now. Solving that mess may have to be the highest priority before release action can take place on AI, but websites like yours are starting to wake people   up to the true dangers of what’s going on...

Me: Can I start off by saying thank you for reaching out, it takes courage and you are my first real testimonial, I am ever so appreciative of you reaching out and trusting me with your story.
I have featured your story on my home page and will begin sharing it through various media sources if possible. I have kept your identity anonymous, should you want to be public, I can certainly add your name.
This is exactly why I started my website, months ago, I thought it was only a matter of time before people around me got affected by AI in such a way. With the prevalence of AI, unfortunately, it makes sense demand would drop for writers as it now becomes a race to zero concept. I do feel like this is only the beginning and there will be much turmoil ahead for people in similar fields.
I am very sorry to hear that you are now unemployed, my sincere condolences, I understand that this must be a tough time for you, but I also believe it is important that your story is heard, would you be open to an interview of sorts to share your story? I feel that a video would gain more reach than just on my website for example, I hope this provides a platform for future people who are disrupted by AI and acts as a rallying source for them to stand behind.
When you lay out the 80% white-collar worker statistic, it really is mind-boggling and I am afraid that only statistics like this would bring the necessary attention to this topic.

First of all, I am not entirely unemployed yet, but my work has been substantially cut by maybe 80%.
I am willing to talk more in-depth about my story, but it concerns me that:
a) you are not identifying yourself — why is this the case?
b) you are selling your website’s domain — this would appear to be a lack of faith in what you’re doing
C) your website does not look professional — these days, it’s not hard to get a professional website built
Can you tell me why these are the case?

I'm glad to hear that you are still able to get some work, I am also glad to see them reach a tentative deal on the writer's strike, perhaps that will help your industry in the short-term.
Here are the answers to your concerns:
a) I am up against some very powerful people and corporations who are pro-AI, I am not going to reveal my identity.
b) I am attempting to sell my domain as I have also been personally affected by AI recently, it is not easy to fund something like this, when I acquired the domain, I paid thousands of dollars for it, not to mention all of the fees it takes to upkeep a website. This is basically volunteer work as no one else seems to want to do anything. Rest assured, the sale would only be to someone who shares my values and better positioned than I to run a website like this, likely a well-funded non-profit.
c) I kind of answered this on point b, I'm a one-man crew trying to get by, and I don't have the resources or manpower to make a website professional. If you know a way to help me get the proper resources, I am all ears.

“All of the fees it take to upkeep a website”? Dude, it costs 10 bucks a month. I know because I have multiple websites myself. You can easily make a website using many available templates and online apps. For instance, you can use WordPress or the free version of Wix or SquareSpace. Who can’t afford 10 bucks a month?
You’re “up against very powerful people”? Really? What are those “powerful people” going to do? Kill you? Bankrupt you? Who exactly are you talking about?

 I have answered your questions earnestly, whether you believe me is up to you.
I'm sorry you are too narrow-minded to consider the possibilities of other people's circumstances.
With your stand-offish attitude, makes me question the legitimacy of your story, you would not be bashing me, one of the only people in the world taking a stance against AI with a call-to-action plan that is backed by logic and reasoning.
If it's so easy, make a better website than me and bury me, oh wait. I have a better domain than "all your websites" because I paid for mine.
My guess is you have ulterior motives, and it is for that exact reason that I remain anonymous.
